Pt Jude Tuna

I saw a post on another sight about a slug of tuna moving through off the point this weekend....anybody get in on that? Were they the big dogs?

Big fish close to shore excites me.....not that I have the gear to catch them!

It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility by any means.

Especially in a few more weeks, I'd completely believe it. Water temps are over rated, if there's something to eat. Low 50's don't scare the little ones. I've said enough...

I heard rumors of Makerel at Jenny's and Ryan's horns. If they were there its possible that the tuna were as well. Its NOT too eraly for bluefins. There is sually a run of schoolies to the south of Block Island around this time of year. But right now there are tons of schoolies out in the canyons. I'd bet they will be inshore in another week or so.
