"Whats that strange brown thing on the beach" or how I spent my Friday.

So we took the sled out to go watch the Marion-Bermuda yesterday. (5-10? BS it was 20+ in the bay! I hope nobody got caught in it.) And after the last fleet went off the start we threw up the #4 jib w/ no main and started rolling the fleet (Can't complain going into a heavy chop in 20+ doing 10+ knots). Poor Geraldo, we tanked him hard. Anyhow, we get up on Naushon and started running the beach in the flat water to get a good reaching angle back to S. Dartmouth when a lady from Bermuda who was on the boat to spectate looking through the binoculars says "What is that strange brown thing on the beach with those sheep?!"

Naushon has Llamas people.
Yes, you heard me.
Llamas.

When I checked the race updates last night around 8ish, they'd made it around Sow & Pigs and it went FLAT.

Gonna be a LOOOONG race for those guys.

Edit: Starr Trail a Farr 72 (Big old battlewagon from the late 80's early 90's has 481 to go 24 hours later.... thats fkn slow for that boat.)
