I need this boards help!! - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

Ok I read somewhere about a message board helping someone get there money back wenzeled or something like that well let me explain what happened to me and what I need some help doing.

Back in September this guy comes in and ask if I need cars detailed I said no and he says I do body work, upholstery what ever you need says Ive been in Business 25 years so I said I need a new canvas roof put on my limo he says no problem but you will have to give me money for the prepaid part he say Ill bring a reciept tommorro and you have a check for the part I look into his company hes legitamite 25 years in business ok he comes by the 09/27 takes my check and you can guess the rest till today no roof no money Ive started court but I want that money back now.

I need some ideas what to do I figure put his company out here with phone numbers and I need at least 2000 people to call him monday morning he has 3 numbers Home, business and cell until he comes and pays me I will not stop.

Any ideas.

They were called told me if it involves money take to small claims I have tried everything I started small claims that could take months Hey the holidays are here $800.00 dollars is no joke to me Ive given this #^&#^&#^&#^& every oppurtunity to give it back or just give me the roof material I paid for he cant produce either he spent my money.

I just want to show him I have friends that hate hearing of others getting beat no threats of violence just a "HEY GIVE THE DUDE BACK HIS MONEY"!!! after hearing it a couple hundred times he might see this in a new light almost like a voiced petition.

just all his phone numbers. Monday I am calling every agency I can think of BBB ,Taunton Gazzett,Chamber of commerce any body I can think of to get my money back.

For the go ahead dont want to do anything that can cause this board trouble. I just want some help maybe if he hears it from a bunch of people he will look at it like there goes my business if I dont give him that money back.

Don't know how far you've gone down the court route, but you may want to do a search on "93A Demand Letter". This may be a good step before court, and may help get your money back quicker. It may also entitle you to triple damages if this does make it to court.

It just stinks that someone would come take your money and then make you go throuigh all this too get it back then after court who says he is not going to make 10.00 a week payments. Ive gone all the routes I know hes a small business like me and I have given him every chance dont want to ruin him just get my money back if I get on the phone Monday there will be no turning back I can gaurentee I will destroy him my wife works for the department of Revenue its all its gonna take to say goodbye to him.

Mike, I don't think it's a wise idea to post phone info here and ask others to harrasss him. That may cause repercussions. I bet there are better ways to handle it.

Don't let him Wenzel you, but do it legally and wisely.
If someone posts his business name on a message board somewhere, maybe that won't be a problem.

Mike,

A 93A lawsuit may be the best way to go. It would intitle you to triple damages plus court costs plus legal fees if you won. You seem worried about the jerks reaction, don't be Jerks like that exsist because decent business men like you don't feel comfortable going after them. Go get him and he will fold like any other bully. I did an internship when I was in school at the consumer protection agnecy for Rhody. We use to scare the crap out of jerks like that with our state atty general letter head. Good Luck to you.

Had a courtdate for the 28th but he postponed it until the 1/11 Found out he has no business certificate so even for some un forseen reason I was to loose in court the taunton Police are going to Arrest him on Larceny by false pretence I just want my money back and it will be over I have talked to everybody from the attorny generals office to help me hank I want to put him out there.

Now instead of oweing me $800.00 he owes me $2400.00 triple damage right to collections it goes and I am going to talk to detectives to see if I can file a Larceny complaint against him he has to be the biggest Idiot out there I will not let this go away I wrote the original $800.00 off so now its all about the screwing him over and getting my money back I cant feel bad for this looser he brought it all on himself by stealing my money.

Deposit to someone in there name allways the company name its easier to put a stop on the check if they put it through there account once you write a check to there name they run right too your bank and cash it no recourse. Save reciepts and all paperwork associated with everything.
