Old timers rack your brain, Please!

I am looking to find who makes or "made" a clear pencil popper with a blue back it was about 6-7" long and may have been white when new. I had one around 1970 or so. An old timer had given it to me back then. I have since lost it. I don't seen to see anything like it around. It was a great all round go to.

Thanks in advance.

It could have been made by Yankee Lures. I have one still in the packaging - in Gold with a bit of glitter moulded in. It also has a sort of flat on the bottom - such as the "canal special" weighs in at 3 oz. Item No. was PP3.
