We gotta do a tourney for the boat guys

OK , we got to come up with a season long thing for the boat guys this year. I know they just sit there and let the motor do all the work but they aren't bad people and we sort of said we would include them this year.

Seperate boat division. Just for fun and braggin rights and a prize if we can get one. I figure run it same as the season long but from boats. Same rules , etc. Any other comments or suggestions?

It would be nice, but so unfair because boat fishing is soooo damn easy, we all know it's like shooting ducks in a barrell.

Sure - we have the informal braggin' rights tourney but another year long under the same rules as our regular tourney would be cool...

Why don't we have the boat guys start measuring and sending in slips for boat fish just like the shore fisherman. All they do different is write "Boat" somewhere on the slip. Then , as the season goes along , if we get some prizes donated , we'll be able to make awards or if not , I'll print up an official looking certificate in at least two colors to be awarded. I think by the time the year is over , we should be able to come up with at least a bag of Mega Jerks for the boat top prize!

All kidding aside , if they start sending in slips , the tourney is on and we can worry about who wins what later.
