Thumbs down why um..........

do you listen to commercials....

there is a mute button....

actually the right time is 3pm on December 31rst.

thats when they will bend over backwards to make
you a deal you cannot refuse....

if you watch an info- mercial just 37 times (fact)
you become programmed (hypnotized)
into believing you need the stupid thang
they are trying to sell you....

Thumbs down It eats like stake but cuts like butter.

WTF

I feel the same way about the Ruby Tuesday adds about their new burger . I want to off the chef in the commercial. Nobody should be that passionate about Ruby Tuesday. They're in the same leage with Applebee's.

Worse part of watching any game on TV.. Ads..
That is when I leave the room.. hit the john, go online for a coupla minutes.. do something.. or just sit and channel surf.. I gotta get the new unit with the record feature from comcrap.. then do like my neighbor.. he starts the unit at game time, then goes and cooks or makes some snacks.. then starts watching it 45 minutes later... fast forwards thru all the commercials.. comes out about even time, at the end of the game.. usually watching live at that point.

And... What Salty said.

My first reaction to DVR was that I didn't need to spend any more money on cable because I don't watch it that much but I think the DVR is only a few bucks more a month.

I'm considering it.

I think Toyota can afford to do anything they want, and will throw it in Americans faces every thance they get !!!
since they show profits of atleast 10 billion each qtr,
while the 3 american (ford, gm, chrysler) have been loosing billions each qtr!!!

Unfortunately the Americans are catching on to Japanese Manufacturing techniques almost 30 years too late.....

I can't stand those Snickers commercials with the guy with the guitar and horrible singing. We have a digital recorder and luckily skip lots of commercials.

I like the Lockness Toyota Truck commercial. Makes me chuckle. A little off topic, but I am a Toyota fan. For years I have driven Toyota pick-ups. I would buy them cheap with 130K on them and drive them for 125K more and sell them with a wood bed for what I had paid four years earlier. Practically everyone would tell me that it was the cheap Japanese steel that made the beds rust out. Then a guy told me that the trucks back in the 80s were shipped here with no bed attached and the beds were made in the midwest and put on here. HHMMMMM. Not sure if it's true, but I still like those late 80s and early 90s pickups. As for GM, Ford and Chrysler.... well they pushed the big engines, the big cars, big SUVs and big trucks and were short on quality, reliability and fuel savings and now it has come back to bite them in the ass. Live and (maybe) learn.

Yup...
I was slow to get rid of my Ford but love the new 'yota truck...
And the Toyota ad where the chick pushes her ex'es truck off the cliff and it lands tire side down w/o a scratch is priceless..
