Toby Keith at the Dunk
Go git yer Toby Keith tickets this Saturday morning my fellow country music listening rednecks! 
Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert at the Dunk on 2/3.
Should be another kick ass show, highly recomended if you havent seen him in concert. He'll blow ya away.
Another show to catch if you havent seen them in concert yet is Montgomery Gentry. Holy Chit did they blow me away at Mohegan last month! Flat out amazing.
Anyway, just a heads up on the upcoming TK show!

on a side note, and not to hijack (although Im sure it will) I HATE all this new country stuff. My wife watched teh CMA awards show and I caught parts of it. There is NO difference from this junk and the boy bands like Insync or whatever.
I grew up on Hank Williams, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Porter Wagoner, etc. This new stuff is AWFUL and marketed to girls and ex- Journey fans.

It's a matter of preference, todays country is totally not the country of old. But just like every genre of music, it changes and evolves over time.
Just like rock music is not like it was during the Elvis and Beatles years. It's now Metal, Hard Rock, Pop etc. It changes over time.
Whatever you wanna classify it as, its extremely popular now adays. |
