Hey,#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&! I know where you fish! Saw you there last night. Now,If I could only figure out how to get in there. You wont be alone for long. You and the tall Blond guy you fish with are rapidly being figured out,All those fish which you claim as your own, will soon be other's for the taking.I know it was you there. You drive a dodge Dakota and your friend drives A Green toyota,Whenever asked how you are doing in there you alway's say not good or,small fish.I know better, you woulden't be there every night for casting practice.Your catche's speak for themselves. Its not that you are good,It's that you have all the best spot's.Once I get in those spot's I will do just as good.Since you will not give up the info,I will,Everyone should have access to those prime spot's,The shore is for everyone to enjoy.See you there soon! Following you!! Is worth the effort.

Your secret's will soon be public Info !

RE:No Secret's

I hope this is a joke. Dude, if you're serious, this ain't cool. And following someone around to steal there spots... that's a bit creepy.

Part of fishing is having your own secret spots. That's why you work so hard to find them, and if you find them thru a friend, hey, keeping that secret is part of the deal. If someone wants to devulge information on where they fish, that's fine, but no one... NO ONE should resent it if you don't.

Peace and solitude are one of the reasons I fish and I would be heartbroken if I showed up at one of my spots to find 20 guys drinkin' beer and chunkin' mackerel.

You say #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s not good, he just has all the prime spots... why is that? how did he find these spots? Probably thru alot of time and effort. Most of fishing is finding the fish. Catching a fish is not that hard, consistently finding the fish is the challenge.

While I agree that the beach belongs to everyone and that no one owns a specific spot, I certainly think you need to come by that info honestly... by getting out a map and checking out areas and droppin' a line in the suds.

RE:No Secret's

If this is a joke, it is mildly funny. If not.....

I agree with schoolie monster....totally uncool. It's one thing for you, yourself, to try out a spot where you see people fishing. We've all done it at one point or another, and as long as you don't go casting over someone else's line it's a free country. But it's an entirely different thing to go broadcasting a secret spot all over the internet.

If you think you've found a good spot based on seeing someone fish there, by all means go try it out. But don't expect a warm welcome when you get there. And keep it to yourself.

If it's as good a spot as you hope it is, why would you want the whole internet to know about it anyway? Sounds more like the actions of someone who is trying to ruin good fishing for someone else rather than take advantage of it himself. And I don't like the sounds of that one bit.

RE:No Secret's

I didnt want to respond to this thread but i will. The spot you are talking about is private. That means you need permission to go in there.I promise you if I see a vehicle I dont know it will be towed. You can also be arrested for trespassing on private property. This is no joke.I worked my butt off to find these spots and I got into these spots the honest way no matter what you think of me.You should be worrying about finding your own spots.I am somewhat flattererd that you make a hobby out of following me around! It must mean I am doing something right that you cant do.

I give you fair warning to stay out where you dont belong.I will personally see to it that your vehicle is not in working order when you leave!! or that it is towed or that you are arested for trespass!

Ditto everyone else's opinion on this, not only out of line, but most law enforcement departments would have a dim view of stalking someone, regardless of your motivations. Like the others suggested, do your own homework, put in the time and no doubt you will have some secret spots of your own.

Tight lines.

RE:No Secret's

So, you want follow someone around, see where they are fishing, eh? Because, all one really needs it to know are the "Prime Spots" more so then knowing how to fish them, right?? Following someone around like that is pretty uncool and fairly sleazy as well. I remember one instance of someone chasing to catch up to #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s Ramcharger 4 years ago and almost running my sister, at the time pregnant with my neice, off the road in order to "Follow" where #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& was going.

So EVERYONE should have access to these Prime Spots right? What happens if these "Prime Spots" are private places where permission has been attained to access these spots? Now, where someone put in the effort to find these "Prime Spots" and attained permission to fish these "Prime Spots", would it be fair that this access is lost because EVERYONE started fishing these "Prime Spots"??? Or by having these private locations closed off, maybe that would level the playing field??? Again uncool. So now you're going to blow these "Prime Spots" on the people that worked and learned them??

There are some "Prime Spots" fished that are well known, have good PUBLIC access, and WOULD NOT BE LOST if 50 people lined up shoulder-to-shoulder. These places catch fish as well when someone fishes them correctly. Some other "Prime Spots" that are public, people do not want to put the effort into these spots to get in to or to learn them.

Bill has showed me alot of great spots and showed me how he fishes them. I've learned a ton from him and have put some of that into my own "Prime Spots" that I have worked at different tides and conditions to find what produces best. I can guarantee you would enjoy finding a spot on your own and working that spot and learning every submarine hole and rock that lies underneath that whitewash on your own or in conjunction of a good fishing friend. If you value your knowledge and ability to hone your skills, you should try to find some places on your own and LEARN them. Pass on that skill to others so they can LEARN them. Don't blow away the work some have done in what looks here like a gross case of fishing envy.

Are you one of those that let other people find fish for you or do you try to find them on your own?

"ISPY" come out and say who you really are. Maybe you would get an invite, or maybe you've had one in the past and blew it. Where will you be fishing so we can tell everyone where you are???

As mentioned by others, I turly hope this is a cyber troll gone bad instead of the real thing...

RE:No Secret's

You know, I'm going to add something else in here. I try to keep this board as open as I can. I don't require for people to log in and jump thru hoops to use this site. I want to keep it as open and honest as possible. To post something like this is pretty lame and makes it difficult to have a very open forum like this should be. To come in under the radar is OK for the air force as they die if they are seen. To hide who you are and start what you are starting is pretty weak. Grow a set, step up and say who you really are...

RE:No Secret's

I know exactly where he fishes also! In fact #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& brought me there once and I am greatful. I've never been back because he hasn't invited me. The key word there is INVITED. You won't find me getting to the spot and standing on his rock univited. I also now don't consider it my spot just because he was gracious enough to take me there once. When someone shows you a nice place to fish it is only polite to ask if you can come on your on and if they say they would prefer you didn't, honor that. If they say you can don't bring other people!!! It's the gate crashers of the world that have closed off more than a few choice spots. Oh, did I mention #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& has more than one spot.

RE:No Secret's

This Ispy person actually thinks that him finding a "special spot" is goning to make him catch fish. Obviously someone who goes around searching for one of the best striper fishermans spot, he hasn't been able to catch a fish at other spot she ahs tried. I think I spy may be a bit jealous of the fact that he is the only one on this sitr that can't fish a lick. Kinda strange to be stalking someone to find there fishing spo, this guy may have some other typr of problem. just my thoughts, Derek.

RE:No Secret's

In one word DONT !!!!! Its a good way to get yourself hurt . Never and I repeat NEVER follow someone to their fishing spot if you find it accidently and catch fish thats 1 thing this appears to have access through private property and never cross private property most landowners will have you arrested others will shoot you and ask questions later . Its one thing to ask about a certain spot as far as tide and the such . But it is really cowardly to let everyone know where all the good spots are only cause your jeolous of another fishermans good fortune . That fortune is hard to come by so do your own like most ofd us try to do

RE:No Secret's

You know...when I was younger I could never believe all the fish I use to catch with my dad! Well to be honest I never did pay too much attention to where we drove or where the boat went and what I used to catch the fish, etc. So when I got a lot older, enough to vacation on the Cape by myself I was throwing lines in saying "huh, I haven't caught anything"!!! Well only until about three years ago did I realize that I needed to find out what I was actually doing!!!!!!! I am still not catching huge and numerous fish by any means, but more than I was! I am kicking back and trying new things and new places that I can come up with , not STALKING anyone for goodness sake! Sure it is ok to ask advice every now and again. As far as all my fathers secrets?? If he offers them, I listen. If he doesn't, I find out myself! This is my own father!!!!! The moral??...The moral is....if all you think fishing is consists of catching fish, than I am sorry you are so nieve! I enjoy the adventure every new trip brings. Fish or no fish, and after spending eighteen hours straight on the beach through sun up, sun down, rain storms or what have you, and you reel in that fish completely exhausted doesn't feel so much more rewarding knowing you didn't rip someone elses "spot" off??? Or wouldn't you know how that feels????????

RE:No Secret's

I've read Ispy's initial post a few more times and I'm hoping that this is someone just trolling for a response and not really serious. This happens all the time on other boards I frequent, so I'm hoping (for #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&'s sake) that is all this is about. There are legions of internet junkies out there, which love to stir things up just for fun. If so, then he succeeded and got several of us to bite. Maybe he's a better fisherman than we thought.

Tight lines.

RE:No Secret's

Following people around is pretty weak. I know around here when you see certian trucks in certian spots that means there might be fish there, but I dont stop. If I am out onthe beach and I find a spot that produces for me I will fish it again. If that spot happens to be anothers "secret spot" too bad, if I find it on my own thne I can fihs there anytime I want. If on the other hand its a spot someone took me too I will not bring others there but I may fish there once in a while unless the guy who took me there asked me not too......

Ispy's a troll! I think he started this thread to get responses. I looked at his profile and he has one post and just activated his profile. Ispy if you have any B's why don't you id yourself. To bad there are really no "secret spots" I don't know how many times I've gone only to find someone in a spot I wanted to fish or hunt. Like #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& it seems the hardest part is getting permission or finding a legal spot to park. I fish from the gut to Scituite from shore like John R. never seen him that I know of but I wouldn't follow him around to go to his "secret" places. I just hope this guy Asspy screws it up for anyone.

You guys should come down here. There are three spots in Fairfield. The marina, the reef or Southport Jetty.

Maybe we'll have to meet up at some time somwhere from the Gut to Scituate... The place I'm fishing mostly is about between the two <img src="/Images/biggrin.gif"><!--e7-->...

RE:No Secret's

Fairfield is the hardest place to find parking any where legal and where your not worried about towing . I stay clear of that end of this lame state now that I dont work there anymore . Connecticut is full of rich people that are so stuck on them selveas the word sharing isnt in their vocabularies . If Patrick knows of some he may connect with fish , God knows the western sound has a good population of fish all year . Just access sucks and the cops give no breaks .

RE:No Secret's

Chis L,
Although I do agree with what you say about Connecticut, god knows I grew up here and fish mostly to the east and RI, but you can find access at this time of year at certain spots in the western end of the state. You just have to be crafty as to where you park and find places to park. They arre more lenient now that the summer is over, and by the way the fishing is better now anyway. And believe me, there are some good fish with lots of blitzes daily going on down there right now. But take my advice and poke around and you will find some parking and fish also. I normally don't fish down there but lately I have because the fish and bait are there.

Please do not take this as a defense to Patrick because I will never defend him!

By the way, ISPY is a creep whoever he is!
