Anyone fish the salt in Maine?

I'll be heading up to Maine in July visiting some friends, they're in Yarmouth, near Casco Bay . We'll be camping and staying right near the ocean. So the quick question is, are there fish around -bass and or blues? I have no clue and not sure if I should pack a rod.
Thanks!!!

There are no bass in Maine, they are all in RI and Mass. Only mackerel in Maine.

you can extend your spring season by like 2 months by following the fish up to maine. its awsome.
i have fished that area alot when i was younger. definitly going to be doing some prospecting up there later this summer.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

Any estuaries at all (Mousam River), Popham State Beach, Sheepscott River, Damariscotta River, KENNEBEC RIVER,...
but don't bring rods, don't fish these places, nothing but mackerel. Their stripes just go the wrong way.

I'll be camping right on an estuary, guess I'd better leave the rod and kayak home.......
