Canal was poppin... then the mosquito's came.....

just before and during slack... nailed several fish all just under keeper size... all on yellow topwater...

then the bloodthirsty army of doom showed up... and i forgot my spray... i was forced to retreat..

they were absolutely relentless tonight... if your thinking of going... BRING SPRAY....

I got mauled by the little bastids the other night too. It was bad for about a half hour and then they were gone (where I was standing). I'll definitely bring some spray next time.

5 string Bass, do you happen to be speaking of the narrows??? I made sure to put that in my tackle bag. I hear ya on that one.
BTW, anyone on here fish in bristol? Am curious what's running right now. Had multiple tags of three , then two, on the pole but brought nothing in. Bait looked bitten for sure. But then lost feeling in my fingers. Then its no fun.

Ive fished bristol twice so far this year with no luck on stripers. Got a couple tataug but thats about it. Havent been back in a couple weeks so things might have changed.
