can someone explain?

what wind direction is favorable on the beach in hull.i was there on friday and caught a bunch of schoolies and one keeper. fish were busting everywhere. went back this morning at 5 am and got nothing. i went for a drive along jerusilum rd. looking for some action but saw none. so i went back to the beach and landed a schoolie but nothing else. i was told the beach had been hot for some time but the winds drove the baitfish away. so my question is what winds are favorable in that area. thanks in advance

While I don't know the area, winds coming onshore at any location might have a tentancy to bring bait in and preditors. What you also have to consider is that at this time of year, everything is on a push south, so a beach could be loaded one day and barron the next. I killed bass up near cohasset and hull a couple weeks back and the following weekend, I couldn't buy a bite at the same two locations, yet I heard Plymouth busted loose that same weekend. It's a good bet that those might have been the same fish that were north the previous weekend.
