No one had a camera, as far as I could see.

Did anyone catch anything decent? Best I could manage was 26"-28" in the wee hours this AM

I didn't see the Leper

I only filmed good lures for reference in the future
The cup was not in residence, it is currently with Team Franklin.

JohnR tried to explode the grill but without success

Tynan and Starfish did manage to stay awake after a 24 hours of binge fishing to go hit RI beaches.

NumbSkull and the FishDog were there

I missed it too
I couldn't be in 2 places at once
sorry I missed a good time again.
I had to go to a family/friends fundraiser for my wife's cousin who is lucky to be alive after surviving a serious heart attack aorta disection similar to what Killed JohnRitter. He has a long recovery and missed a lot of work and pay as expected, but he is still with us.
I fished the night before with NIB, then around sunup with JimPowers but we didn't get anything other than schoolies jigging. Let's do it again in 2 weeks

I managed a 20lb-ish fish around 2am

Slow after that except for schoolies

Wish I made it to the cookout

Great seeing everyone, John, Mike, Barbara, thank you.

Chris, awesome pulled pork!!

Nib, Casey, Kasey, Bill, Steve, Vic and everyone else, great to see you.

Had some amazing fishing in the west end of the canal this am from daylight till about 8am. Total over 30 fish from 26 - 34" and some big blues(up to 32.5"). Loads of bait including all sizes of squid. Killer plug for quite a while was a pearl rapala Xrap Walk 13. At one point I had fish on 14 out of 16 casts(got weed on the other 2) Particularly during the slack and the slow current, no wind, this plug just slowly twitched on the surface is deadly. Guys around me were getting occassional fish on bigger poppers but this plug was killer. It casts decent also, at 1-1/4 oz.

Glad to hear you got a good one John. Wish I could be there tomorrow am, should be a repeat performance.

Macojoe,

Sorry to hear you were out of commission. If you were fishing Buzzards Bay out of Wareham August was slow with smaller Seabass, scup, and an occasional fluke. Vineyard sound was O.K. for the Fluke especially in the first week but slowed into the Aug. 15th closing. You'll be back just in time for the Albies and Bones.

Was hoping to make it, but first things first. Family, work, fish. I got the first two things in this weekend and that's what's important. Will try to make the Rhody leg.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
