One of the greats....I wonder if they will be holding his memorial at the Staples Center

Very nice man. About 9 years ago, my wife and I gave up our seats on the ferry to the Vineyard for him and his wife. Mr. Cronkite didn't want my wife's seat and told her he'd gladly stand because men should give up their seats for ladies. My wife had to insist he sit down. I whispered to my wife "do you recognize him? He's Walter Cronkite." She didn't believe me because she figured he'd never be on the regular ferry until she saw the huge diamond ring on his wife's finger. It was about half as big as a golf ball.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio
