Some SWELL shots from the Tail
Last night and this morning provided a great opportunity to shoot some beautiful HD video and get a few photos.
Some folks didn't realize how lucky they were...after standing in a spot for 10 minutes they left and five minutes later that spot was covered up by a rogue wave.
One girl got taken away by stretcher (no doubt slipped and fell on the rocks) you'll see the fire dept hook and ladder in one of the pictures.
As you can see from these pictures I'm always a safe distance away...or at least I can run away, run away

A few more beauty shots of ugly surf
It was pounding last night and this morning. The beauty of early morning shooting was larger waves, clear sky and offshore breeze.
A few of the daybreak shots were better treated as B&W due to low light from an overcast sky.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Yesterday and today were not days for diving, but they sure were great days for watching the power and beauty of the Atlantic.

As usual, Great Shots Mike
I was wondering how those waves would look, until I was looking up at some in a different location .

Rob,
You got some great shots dude...don't forget, for me it's not a hobby, and I work at it nearly every day...plus I never post the crappy shots...and I get my fair share of those.

Your shots really do capture the fury of the Atlantic
