Lost at Cuttyhunk - REWARD

Korker 5000 series with straps and buckles.
Left size large- BRAND NEW!

Vicinity of Church's Beach and bass stand to the west of there.

Had them buckled and the tails tied as well, so thinking something failed- stitching or plastic D ring.

REWARD AND POSTAGE PAID FOR SAFE RETURN.

That sucks. You need to tape those bad boys on.

Damn

In 5 years I've never lost one. I ALWAYS tie the tails in a TIGHT square knot on top of the clipped buckles just in case the buckles break or open.

I think that what happened is a) the D ring at the side of the heel broke or b) the stitching holding the D ring let go.

I had spent the prior hour+ balanced on pointed rocks with my feet on each side, and this must have put a lot of pressure on the rings and heel strap. Who knows.

I came in from a chest deep rock, ran down the beach to help a buddy with a fish, and realized one sandal was gone when I slipped while admiring the bass. No doubt it is on the bottom between shore and the rock I had been on. I looked with my light, but the bubble weed was all I could see.

Hoping it will wash up or be found by some enterprising snorkler looking for a reward.

I lost a left one there in that general area as well. The mighty Fishweewee returned with it hours later. I had mine taped on tight like I always do too.
