The final game of the NBA championship 2007 season, Celts vs. Lakers.
My favorite precursor to one of the greatest sports stories for me was in the spring of 2004, when the Sox re-acquired Curt Schilling and put out that Ford commercial where he stats "I have to get to Boston to remove a 80(?) year old curse."
And then it came true: One bloody sock, A-Rod swat and the greatest comeback in MLB history!

For me, 2004 Red Sox answers both questions. The above video reminded me of when A-Rod tried to slap the ball away at first base. That was hilarious.
