Hi everyone!!!!!!

I just got back a few days ago from the very cold & wintery state of PA were all of my family lives. I got to go home and do a little deer hunting, which I haven't been able to do in a few years. The trip was very successful, got a doe and Hit a nice 10 point, but he got away and we couldn't find him. But 2 days later on the last day of doe season my brother saw it feeding in a corn field so he will be just fine. I hit him in the front shoulder, he was running away from me at about 250 yards and I could only get 1 clear shot at him before he went into the think brush. I don't like wounding a deer and not finding him and think he is out there suffering or dead, but he isn't so I feel alot better, he will live to see another season, and what a beattiful animal he is.

I got to see alot of wildlife while I was home, turkeys, grouse, pheasant, rabbits, and alot of deer, I hunted every day for a week and 1/2 and it sure was nice just to go sit in the woods and enjoy the beauty and quiet and peacefulness of mother nature. It was a wonderful mind clearing trip and I am so thankful that I got to go and enjoy it, my parents live on a 120 acre farm in Western PA, its a whole different world from here, but I sure miss it. Sad thing is I love the saltwater more!!!!!! Just wish my family was closer.

Just wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy New year, filled with great health and happiness.

Hey FW!!! Glad your back after having a great time at your other home!!! As you stated, you love the saltwater more. That salt air just as easily permeates your soul as it does everything else it comes in contact with... See ya tomorrow night??
