Was looking at the cape cod tackle site they had a link for a new epoxy for plugs. Its real expensive has any one out there used it? What advantages does it have over e tex or glaze coat? thanks Charlie

Is that the Diamond Finish from KBS you are talking about? It looks like a one-part top coat. Anyone try it yet?

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& brought it to our attention awhile back....... was during fishing season, not finishing season, so not a lot saw it. Thanks Scott.

I have not tried it yet, but Booger said it was the catsazz, if I remember correctly.

I have used it. (thank you Salty for bringing it to our attention)

Goes on easy. Key is timing between coats. I second coated 20 minutes after first coat and got tiny bubbles. I guess I didn't wait long enough between coats for first coat to gas off..

The smell is on the strong side, but it is very easy to work with. I used the small brushes for rod epoxy. Next time (in a few months) I'll try an acid brush and try to get away with 1 coat.

I did up a coule lures for benefit auctions plus a few extra for my Rhodie trip this weekend.
