Hookin up and Hanging out Fishermens Flea Market Sat.
Tomorrow is the annual fishermans flea market that the gibby tournament holds at the railroad bridge area by the canal in Buzzards bay. I have not seen a lot of press about this yet.
John said it was OK to post about it.
It starts at 9 and goes all day.
the money raised by selling the tables or booths goes to the statue fund.
parking is free and no fee to shop.
I bet there will be a lot of good stuff cheap
stop by and say hi

Yeah, it was underwhelming, to say the least. I did pick up one black and two white 4 oz Mr. Pogie jigs, though.

There were deals on stuff if you looked and were quick enough. Greg did very well, priced his stuff to sell, as did I. I got rid of stuff I'd never use, made enough to cover the 30 bucks for the table space and cover what I bought. Nobody seems to want to buy big ticket items these days though, even at decent reduced prices.
Disappointed there was not much publicity about this and not very good timing on when the event was held. I agree with Steve, should be in Sept. maybe the weekend after Labor day.
We left early as it was dead this afternoon.

What's up with that statue? Is it going to happen? Are there the funds for it or close to enough funds to pay for it and is there a location that has allowed for it be put there?

Great job advertising this one!!!!! Don't bother asking the venders who paid last year if they want to sign up. Someone needs to talk to me about advertising it next year. Maybe some people will find out about it. Sorry gibbys but ya screwed this one up.
