Teardrop Trailers coming back

I have seen a few on the roads this spring and hear that they are popular in Cali.

here is a PDF link for a do it yourself article from the 40s. After WWII a lot of surplus materials were used to build these cool lighweight trailers.

Some random company built a trailer for a VW Beetle.. The hitch was mounted on the center of the roof. I cant really describe it its so strange

And I think most places have that self-contained toilet rule.
All these rules lead to the most expensive option being the only option. It's the deprivation of freedom by economic means.

My favorite surfcasting buggy is still a Dodge Caravan. Incognito, plenty of room to sprawl. If you can't stand up in it, it is not any better.
They also had a camper made out of a bug, half beetle half camper
