Hey Paul, PM RIRockhound. His family rented a house down there for a month every year for years. He'll know.

I was going to make a wisecrack about you looking for bonefish and going bottomfishing, but I'll keep it to myself since this is a family site.

Been going to Grand Bahamas for 20 years use to get sucked in on deep water fishing paying 400 a half day plus tip of charter fishing... we finally started going 1/2 day bottom fishing for 50 bucks and now I think the guy is up to 60 per person bait and tackle included.
His name is Les can be reached at 646-5083... you can call when you get there if interested. Great guy to go with if you are just looking to go bottom fishing.
If you need to be picked up at airport I can give you a name of a person our group uses all the time.
Where are you staying there?
Not much to do on Grand Bahama
