Ledgerunner Baits

After a great morning of plugging at the canal, I decided to wait for the west tide and jig for a while. I was with some newly aquired fishing friends. They were throwing pig & jigs. I went with the 13" white Ledgerunner. I started catching fish after a few casts. The others were skunked. It wasn't long before I had a small crowd gathered around asking what I was fishing. I directed them to M&Ds in Wareham. Mike - expect some business soon.

Been getting the same deal with tossing storms, except people (who apparently have been there for a much longer period of time than my buddy and i) just sit there and stare angrily as we hit fish on em...

Ha....that's great. I had the same thing a few weeks ago. First started with a livewell. Guy liked our setup but needed one quick. Directed to Mike's. Stopped in later and mike said the guy bought one.

Then it was to the Storm Wildeyes the following day. Told some non herring fishermen to use them. They did and scored. Off to Mike's they went for more.

Then with the Ledgerunners. Same thing. Told a guy to try some out. He bought some later and returned to try them out!

We later asked mike what our commission was. I think he found little humor in that

Glad you caught some fish, I hear tell them baits work well. Here are a couple pictures you might like, mine was caught on an 8" curly tail grub in 15 foot of water with a place called Cuttyhunk looming large in the distance. I believe slipknot caught the smaller of the two on one of my split tails and I think you can figure out the other one. What a sweat night last night turned out to be, wish I'd had my S**T together before hand, but I haven't yet wired up the new VHF and the GPS, or purchased a good chart for that area. I saw enough rocks to make me want to come back, I love rocks; guess that's why I named them Ledge Runners....hehe. . .

From looking at the back ground in your photo Greg, I will venture a guess that you were on the North Side of the Entrance to Buzzards Gultch, West of that big point of land with the Bunkers on it and East of that pile of rocks with the funny barn yard name.

Don't tell Bruce....He will be in your way!
