Attending the funeral of a close childhood friend today. Another person my age gone way too soon. People dropping like flies around here, hopefully people will wake up at some point

Other than that, floating around on the Lake all weekend drinking beers and grilling up food.

Lets see, I gotta uncover and startup the pool. I have a hundred year old cast iron boiler that has to get out of my cellar.

And to pour salt in the wound, I have to watch a certain young surfcaster get his stuff together cuz he's playing guide for a block island auction charity thing.

Wax (Rejex) hull if not too hot. Fuel up, load, and launch on evening tide tomorrow.
Watch out on the roads, folks. End of the month quotas are being met. I just got a $25 ticket for seat belt violation in Peabody.... Pulled me over for a bogus lane violation that I argued and got a verbal/written warning for that too.... At least it is not a moving violation that would be on my insurance.

Keep fishing. Chris Morgan and I crushed fish to just south of 30# this AM so I don't think I'll quit quite yet.

No boat, back in the suds.

Shopping for my wife Saturday, then Sunday more shopping and planning a small brthday party for her for Monday, then packing because after Monday I get seven days to tool around the Cape and start fishing again, do a little work on my grandmother's house and hang out with my father in Y-D area.
