Mazda protege 5 runs great. bought it new in 2002. 5 speed manual, 6 disk cd, new timing belt and water pump. only thing I ever had to do was maintenance items. 170000 miles. paint has some scratches, but is ok. little bit of wheel well rust starting. interior in good shape. $2000ish
