The break out there is insane right now.

Wonder what the disturbance that just came up the coast did to the break and bite.

For some reason I never understood, storms don't seem to affect the position of temperature breaks very much.

The last guy I spoke to said there was a buddy of his that had 12 swords on in one night at V. He was east of that and had 16 yft, a couple big wahoo and the usual mix of other species...said it was lights out all day in flat clam conditions with few boats around
I would love to go one more time but it looks doubtful. Possible day trip east planned for monday...but the fishing there has been way off this season (so far)

Have you checked out the water between the lanes and the edge, it looks very fishy

Mike, the joke between Tautog and I is that we are laid up with engine issues...

They work fine going out and most of the way back!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I got an invite to go long tomorrow and I had to turn it down...I am so beat from fishing locally and a loooong fruitless trip out east that I don't think my body could make a canyon run...I am really getting old. (When I was younger, "no" to fishing invites were not in my vocab)
I am thinking of hauling the boat after togfest. My garage and gear are a mess and I am exhausted, my back is killing me) I need a personal fishing assistant.
(that said the guys that have gone recently had fantastic trips, several said it was the best trip ever for them out there)

Also I meant to post the photo of the fantastic sunset we had on monday on my way home ... not photoshopped...it looked even richer in real life.
