Hell of A Month

My Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer , so i have been in and out of the Hospital with her for hospitalization stays and tests . My wife had a procedure on Thursday and while we were getting ready to go to the Hospital for her . I get a call from my youngest daughter (16) , that she was in a car accident on her way to high school ( in my pickup ) . My daughter fractured her hand along the bones to the small finger .

Jessi said she thought i would kill her for "destroying your truck " . She said she was suprised when i told her " i dont care about the truck im just very concerned for you " . once my heart got back to beating properly and i could breath a sigh of relief . I told her it will all be OK . Thats when she finally stopped sobbing .

The best part is my daughter is ok . She just cant drive , play sports , play her 2 instuments in band , take exams or work .
My wife is fine minor procedure .
My Mom is doing good mentally and physically depite her cancer .
and im still vertical and sane .

My pickup ???? needs the adjuster to look at it . hopefully they dont total it . Cant afford to buy new one .

I mention this cause you people have the power of prayer and i know you will . I thank you now from the bottom of my heart .

you a bunch of good blokes

I'm in... I have enough prayers being said for me that I have mine and extras to pass on. They are yours. One day at a time this too will pass.... I say to myself and anyone else who wants to listen. Blessings on the whole crew indeed.

not to hijack this thread but I feel your pain, my dad underwent his second bout of bladder cancer surgeryvthis past Monday, he also has chronic fatigue syndrome and bone leukemia, as of November 12 my mother in law has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.she has 12 tumors in her lungs, bladder cancer, uterine cancer, and other girl parts, it has been very tough for my wife and our two kids for the past 2 months it has been complete family mode for me.

Thank God for beer and Jack Daniels because I would have no way of seeing this easy for me to deal with what has been laid out before me.

You got it Chris
when it rains it pours
God Bless your family, hang in there

Bob, we are behind you bud, you'll find the strength to help your family through. I know it's hard. we are thinking of you. Family is everything

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Chris, you have them all from me, my friend. That's a hell of a month.

Bob, you as well. You guys know how to find me if there's anything I can do (mostly just with my left hand for now).

Rick
