A great suprise

Just took a run out to Vineyard sound in search of some bonito. I entered the sound and noticed a few terns, so I headed toward them. There was a considerable number of cormorants under the terns chasing bait around, though I never found out what it was. I had a white Rebel jumpin minnow on a light setup so I sent it flying. What blew up on it was no bonito, but a bass in the mid 20's. All of a sudden the bass began boiling all around and I was right in the middle... All alone. I lost several, but landed six up to about 38 lbs. Just incredible. August 7, mid day, all on topwater. An ideal situation I happned upon by chance. I love this stuff.

Live it

Very nice. That's what it's all about. The moment of the miracle so to speak. Funny how you never expect it when it happens.

Pictures!

So here are a few of yesterday's fish. Angles are weird... its tough to take them solo on a rocking boat.
