I thought fishing from boats in the canal was not allowed?

Probably because you were fishing from a boat in the canal, which everyone knows is prohibited

You should have launched at Scussett beach....you left a lot of productive water untouched.

That would have only added about 5 minutes to your trolling time

Lucky the patrol boat didn't come around. Watched them confiscate and hawl someone away doing the same a couple yrs ago. Major risk due to lllllaaaaarrrrggggeee stuff that goes through the canal.

Last year a couple of fools were trolling by me just past the cribbin. I actually snagged one of the lines and pulled a lure to me, black bomber.
I then threw it into a tree. They were oblivious until the rod went over, the power of booze.
Pretty funny though.

Giving kayak anglers a bad name!

Next time let us know sow we can organize some lead weight target practice (like you do at the driving range when the ball "collector" goes out on the field)

I am a legend in my own mind!

I can't believe that you are actually posting this and you are questing why there is no etiquette/ respect from anglers along the shoreline.

There is zero fishing from any vessel in the canal.

"Troll", internet slang, A person who sows discord on the internet by starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory, extraneous or off topic messages in an on line community. This appears to be trolling at it's best.
