What was that just north of Boston?

Was fishing east facing rocks on Marblehead neck tonight. Around 6:30, I think, my fishing partner asks me if that is a C130 above us. It was. And as we looked towards Boston we saw 18 steerable parachutes descending, I presume, into the waters off Nahant or Winthrop. Also saw USCG red inflatables in the distance with blue lights on. Cannot find anything in the news as yet......

Three Blackhawks doing laps around the harbor at low altitude (i.e. under the Logan takeoff traffic) and then started to detour through the city a bit on the last laps. Kept at it for quite a while.

yea.they are on the move. I had those fish( that size class) for 2 weeks. selectively feeding and generally being fussy.. last Thursday I got 27 all in that size range... feeding like it was the last supper. now I know why they were so aggressive...Tues /Wednesday...nothing but schoolies...

Some of us have been saying it for YEARS. The Fall run begins a lot earlier than most think. I remember I crushed 30 to 40 # fish at Ballston the last week in August many years ago. They weren't residents I can assure you.

No boat, back in the suds.

Bunch of helicopters flying all over Bean Town durig the same time. It was a training exercise. Funny story............one night in the eighties, early 80's when Weymouth Naval Air Station was still active I was sitting on the desk in the station and the phones lit up at the same time I heard this god awful roar that was getting louder and louder. One of the first callers yelled into the phone, "you've got as huge plane crashing in your town right now". Ran out side and right over the town hall was a C5 300' off the deck. Called the Naval Air Station withe a number we had, and the officer who answered said they were doing low level, under the radar, landing exercises. He said I might hear, and see it again. I heard it again, but it didn't fly over me the next time. Jesus H. was that plane loud.

I remember that well Frank. Having lived near the end of the air strip for 37 years now, we saw it all.
I was in Braintree today and saw a lot of police at a facility from towns all over. The electronic sign said police training exercises being conducted. Many of them were in full riot and SWAT gear, so maybe there are other activities going on elsewhere as well.

I remember that as well Frank, that was not the only time. I lived in Abington a long time.

Training exercise, right

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
