Warm Weather Coming

I'm seeing a nice warm up first of the week finally. Seventy degrees is going to feel nice, although in Plymouth we usually get that sea breeze to keep us cooler. Even so, warm weather and sun shine will get things moving.

I'm tempted, but also enjoying getting back to some freshwater fishing I haven't done in a long long time. Also with my middle son and fisherman getting a kayak, I'm going to go fish where he wants to go and enjoy fishing with him. Plenty of time for saltwater, tog, then killer black sea bass and then fluke. Striper fishing I think I will focus on more in the fall after the freezer is full of vacuum sealed goodies for the winter.

Mike - There are golden eagles, though they're rarely sighted in RI. Huge birds with a wing span of 5 feet or more.

I had an eagle in my yard in CT, I thought was a gold eagle. After some research, I believe it was a Juvenile Bald Eagle. The white crest/head doesn't appear until they enter adulthood, something like 7-8 years if I recall.

Enormous wing span, landed on the kids swing set, so I had a good scale. Wish I could have gotten a picture.

This is in CT, about 30 minutes east of the CTR up in the Hartford vicinity. The river hosts many bald eagles today.
