Recommendations for a cod charter to accommodate 20??
I am looking to schedule a cod charter before the snow flies for my Fins, Feathers, and fur club. I'd like to either launch out of RI or CT. I'm really not up on the ground fish game as of late. The cost shouldn't be a problem (we rented out the Black Hawk for scup last Spring... boring..) I'd like to put the kids on something that pulls back. ANy info would be appreciated.
Thanks Guys!!

The Black Hawk, Frances Fleet, Seven B's or Island Current. I have been on them all and they each have their pluses and minuses.

I'll second that thought. Most of other charter boats in the area are only licensed to carry six. The Frances fleet used to have one boat, IIRC the Captain Frances that was 35 feet or so and could easily accommodate 20 passengers for a cod trip.

Maybe consider a tog trip. Bounty hunter bought a party boat, the old captain Leroy. But they’re out of NB. See them out there a bunch
