Going to older sister's wedding in NH. I get to play head of the family for a day... Going solo as better half has shingles and can't risk getting hugged, or even touched. Getting new tires on the Tahoe today before the ride north.
All winter/fall prep around the house is complete. Just waiting on the leaves to finish their descent.

Probably play golf Saturday and get some more yard work done on Sunday. Hoping my short fishing vest comes today, so I can get ready to get back to some wade fishing, which I haven't done in a long long time. Picked up some light neoprene Frog Togg stocking foot waders and some new wader boots, probably do some end of season freshwater bass, pickeral and trout fishing. Maybe next year some striper fishing from shore to mix things up.
Ross sorry to hear about your better half, that is one nasty thing to have, we got our vaccine after seeing friends deal with that one.

Finished washing all the windows in my house yesterday. Going for COVID booster/flu shots in an hour. Gonna stay home with Mrs Stewie and watch it rain outside

Although Walgreens appt was for 4:00 today, they emailed us that it was the 26th. Maybe I should just show up anyway. Oh well.

Finish a wall repair, painting (of course) and laying some tile.
Tile only so far since I found a bunch of cedar shake under the top layer of plywood at in the foyer and now need a second engineering opinion on the crap structure design and/or build under a good portion of the house. I never did like the looks of how they configured the beams in that section. Likely just the tip of the iceberg. Now it appears there will be work to be done. No excuse for a 40 year old house I don't care how contemporary it may be.
Oh, and put my Coffee/chocolate/vanilla Porter in bottles.
Maybe sneak out the mouth of the CT if I get inspired. Take the long walk if I get really inspired and the stars are out.
