trying crackle for first time today.

Fully expect it not to be any good. We have high standards around here. I have been thinking about this for awhile, but AH's posting last week was gorgeous. Learning curve will be interesting. Onward

I'm a big fan of crackle as well but I leave it for the pros. I've been "marbling" plugs recently and worth the try. Very easy but looks complicated.

First one came out sucky. One side crackled more than the other. Didn't wait for crackle medium to dry overnight. Tried when it was dry to the touch. Will wash off this mess and try again.

I have always had the best results spraying 2 different brands of spray paint over each other. Always come out nice.

60 % of the time, it works every time.
