Too many items

I find it very frustrating when people with too many items use the express lane at the market. I propose a convenience fee be charged for people who ignore the number of item limit.
Let say 1.00 per item over the limit.

Sounds line a Bernie Sandars plan. Create a tax on those with more than you, and the fees can go towards paying a couple more cashiers so that there will be more registers open.

I've been in the supermarket with a cart full and been in the regular line while no one is in the express lane.....had the cashier say she could ring me up over there....

And of course someone walks up and gives that disgusted look
