Ty is 16 11/5 , he'll have his permit shortly after that. Congrats Liam!

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

My daughter got hers last week. I gave gone on several excursions. Boy oh boy a little nerve wrecking to begin with but she is getting the hang of it. The chauffeur gig is getting old so we will be doing a lot of practicing.

So what kind of car are you buying him? You're not going to make him drive that golf cart are you?

Buy him a truck like a ranger so he can only fit one other person in it. Sold my ranger to my neighbor, and they said it was the best decision they ever made.

This is what I was leaning towards. I don't want my grandson driving around with a car load of kids. He has actually agreed that he doesn't want something capable of shuttling a lot of friends around in. He actually wants a Jeep Wrangler. So far tough to find one in good shape with automatic and a decent price. They're all priced ridiculous. Something like a Ranger 4x4 would fit the bill nicely.

That's crazy - wasn't he just like, 10?
Then again, I've had my license almost 10 years now, and I'm just now feeling like I'm a decent driver..
In the winter - take him to a big empty parking lot. Have him drive on the ice, etc. My dad did that with me - definitely good training there.

glad you mentioned that
katie
because to know how to navigate or respond to a 180 or other skids
you first have to experience it!
then practice +practice to spin the wheel in the same direction
to stop the spin out
