I got a dirty job.

Mike Rowe would be all over this. I am looking for someone to paint my engines and clean out the bilge and paint it as well. Could be pretty good money for Christmas. If anyone knows someone PM me. The boat is a 33 ft Wellcraft with twin Cats. I want to scrap off the rust and get some paint on it before winter sets in.

Have you talked to Freak? He did this project on his Wellcraft. Are you going to pull the motors, or just putting on lipstick? Location would help in your post.

I love doing stuff like that. I just refinished 23 kitchen cabinets . Sanded both side took, off black antique hinges and wired brushed 23 handles, 46 strap hinges and over 200 screws and then painted them and 2 coats of paint on each door.

Where are you????

Duke, I'd love to do it but I think you are just too far. It would put me on the road over an hour each way.

No boat, back in the suds.

Looks great. I have hardly any room to work with. The engines are really crammed in there. A 33 ft boat with 2- 419 cats and a generator. Tight as hell.

What does she cruise at and gph?
Mine is underpowered with Yanmar 240's, 15knots cruise @ 12.5 gph and 23 wot with a stiff breeze behind me and empty.
I'm always daydreaming about doubling my horsepower and cruising in the high 20's but that'd be 50g's plus I'm sure

Cruises at 24 knots. GPH I really don't know. I never tracked it. I go from Newport to Oak Bluffs 67 miles on less than 50 gallons per. It can be yours for $35K you could not buy the engines for that. it is a 1997 Wellcraft Coastal. Has all the bells and whistles.

I have 2 x 3116's in a 32 with a genset... Most jobs I need to bring my leprechaun pal to help me out. I have started taking yoga and have rationed myself to bread and water for this upcoming season. Tight is an understatement.
