Mitchell #302 reel parts needed. Help!
Need big time help buying/finding/locating a couple of parts to restore a rather vintage M#302:
1. Oscillation Guide Part No. 81-414
2. Oscillation Slide Part No. 81-415
3. Anti Inertia Brake Part No. 81-408.
I tried all the "usual" places (like the NJ Reel Seat, INC. etc).
I didn't think this Thread warranted the main forum. But these tiny but necessary parts are holding up my whole winter doldrums project>
Bonds,
SK

20-30 bucks for a whole one on ebay, strip out what you need.
Or wander around every weekend going to tackle shops and asking about old parts.
Or buy a Unimat machine and make your own.

Thanks Pete. I'll buy one out of somebody's junk box at an upcoming show for parts.
