"Brenda Snipes has held her position since 2003, in which year her predecessor, Miriam Oliphant, was suspended for “grave neglect, mismanagement and incompetence” and, quite literally, marched out of her office. Alas, Snipes has proven no better at fulfilling her duties than was Oliphant. On Friday, a court in Broward County found that Snipes was guilty of violating both Florida’s public-records laws and the state’s constitution by failing to provide mandatory updates to the public, and it ordered the immediate release of the missing information. As that ruling was coming down, Snipes’s office was laying out more lawsuit bait. According to the Miami Herald, an election worker found bags of “uncounted early ballots” in the Broward County office — ballots whose provenance could not be established. Snipes, meanwhile, was busy mixing together rejected provisional ballots and accepted provisional ballots, processing them all together. She justified her decision to add these provisional ballots to the official tally on the grounds that it would be better to include some illegal votes than to nix the legal ones with which, by her own incompetence, they had been blended.

This year alone, Snipes has been reprimanded by the courts twice: once, in May, for illegally destroying ballots during the 2016 Democratic primary, in violation of both state and federal law; and again, in August, for illegally opening mail-in ballots in secret. How long, we wonder, does it take to establish a pattern?

Hey . . . violating laws didn't influence the outcome of the election . . . it's all good . . . she's doing a really good job. Illegal aliens are Ok . . . they don't influence anything . . . Russian meddling in our elections didn't influence the outcome of our elections . . . not a problem (but Trump needs to be investigated) . . . it's all good . . . move on and shut the ef up.

I'm trying to conceive of a clear, conclusory, connection between Trump's tweet and your conclusion.

Can't do it.

You make some big leaps, but don't actually get here from your side of the chasm to the other side.

I’m fairly certain he’s referring to the fact that the tweet from the president is reinforcing lies about election fraud in Arizona. All while saying those lies justify the need to protect our democracy. So therefore he must be trying to spread lies to bolster his own support and get his base to vote in 2020.

I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s referring to, and it’s not that big a stretch, no matter which side of the matter you fall on

Your explanation resembles what wdmso has often mocked--others having to translate what Trump's words mean. But I appreciate that you're certain of what he meant. So, what was Trump lying about in the Tweet wdmso posted?

The Arizona Republican party made this accusation. I don't think that the party was "lying." It may have just been wrong. If Trump referred to the Arizona Republicans belief, does that mean he lied? If being wrong is a lie, then what politician is not a liar?

I distinctly recall you referring to my previous translations of what Trump meant on various topics--for instance my and Scottw's explanation of his comment on what happened the previous day re violence in Sweden. You referred a few times to my, and others here, effort to explain what Trump meant as verbal linguistics. So it wasn't just what Trump's cabinet said that you mocked. And I don't know what "difference" you're talking about here. Nor what I'm seeing as the same. To me, you're sounding like Trump in some of his more opaque comments.

seems your the only person who can't decipher the words of a 6th grader aka Trump... and his nuanced approach? to speaking and tweets >> I forget his supporters think he is a genius for getting in liberals heads ... but why should words no less facts equal meaning
Trump has a college degree and went to military school before that. And, again, your stream of conscious spray of words here needs some translation. I might could do it, but don't care to.

Your facts and words in this post do require some serious translation in order to equal meaning.

Andrew Gillum Concedes to Ron DeSantis in Florida Governor’s Race after recount

so the recount assailed by Republicans, without evidence, as a possible smoke screen for election fraud ...

since they won this race in the recount no more voter fraud??? should we expect more of the same from the GOP in tough elections 2020? Thats it is always Fraud unless we win???
