Just got off the phone with bennett Marine they are telling me my issues is the power needs to be connected directly to the battery not the helm power even though their Installation direction makes no mention of a direct battery connection or that the provided power wire is only 2 feet long.. seeing i am running a new wire should i just install a new fuse block

I would, keep the power isolated, may come in handy, label all wires

Bennett marine was kind enought to send a new trim tab module . And the new unit installed like the old one .. and it corrected the radio interference .

aqua traction
Speaking of Seadek I ended up using Aqua Traction on my swim platform. Needed it for some traction for my son while on the platform and also it just looks good IMO.

twin Lowrance HDS Carbon12's with a pair of stainless thru hulls with 3D structure scan/sidescan and an airmar B164 for deep water. Lowrance link8 AIS radio. Lowrance 4G 72 mile radar. Lowrance sonicHub with ipod dock.
it's like cheating! I can make a television commercial for Lowrance.
Just the other day I was hunting for macs at full speed. Marked a school 120 feet off the port, 80 feet down. Tapped the screen, It told me how to get back to them and sure as schit there they were, sitting on the bottom in 80 feet. we filled the livewell in no time.
I can see where the whale watch boats are, via the AIS, plus any other ships around.
I can put a mark on any vessel on the radar and it will track them all day, no more sneaking off
I can poke my nose outside the harbor and see where the feet is on the bank.
I can control all of this thru my ipad or phone also. Plus I can lay down in the cabin and watch whats happening thru the ipad mounted on the wall.
Also have 1080p night vision cameras mounted up in the tower plus a kool trolling camera so we can watch the fish in real time refuse the bait
