Is it worth investigating, to make sure the DOJ didn't overstep to influence the election? If everyone is so horrified at the thought of Russian meddling, isn't it also concerning if the DOJ did the same thing?
During the campaign, Trump said his campaign was being spied on. Everybody made fun of him. We now know, that he was correct, that's no longer in dispute.
Hilary paid for a garbage dossier that said an American citizen, Carter Page, was a Russian agent. The FBI used that garbage dossier, to apply for a FISA warrant to spy on Page. The DOJ released his name to the media, all of whom were happy to say he (as part of the Trump campaign) was a Russian agent. And he hasn't been charged with anything.
I don't like thought of the FBI using political campaign material as an excuse to spy on American citizens.
