We tend to think very traditionally, believing that laws requiring a transition of power after a president loses an election mean that it’ll just automatically happen. But laws are limited, imperfect, and ignored by despots and their collaborators.

However, they aren't "just Trumps claims" of fraud. There are people who signed affadavits (which are legal documents, look up the definition) that they saw irregularities take place. Why the heck wouldn't you want that looked into? jim because their BS hell you have the LT governor of texas offering 1 million dollars for Fraud evidence THAT'S what's interesting to me. Why are you so determined to sweep under the rug, every single person who says they have evidence of fraud? How can you know, that not one of those claims has merit? You've investigated them all? Or, do you always, automatically, conclude whatever helps your side, every single time, zero exceptions? Jim as always you assume to much you assume theses irregularities only occurred in 2020 did you see Democrats going to court with bogus affadavits or affadavits with stated reasons the assumed Fraud because the person who opened the envelope rolled their eyes LOL or who say people filling out ballots on a hood of a van? (hello Cell phone?)
You're right Wayne, we should all just accept the loss and move on, look forward to 4 years from now...just like your side did in 2016, right? Your side immediately accepted the results of that election, never said or did anything to try and undermine the will of the people. Nope, not once. Right? Right? How can you say this with a straight face?
again you need to look up fraud and influence and try to explain to us where this fraud happend in a organized fashion you expect us or me to prove it didnt happen thats not how claims of wrong doings work
Where the f*** do you people get off, lecturing ANYBODY about accepting defeat? How many riots have republicans started since the election? How many Walmarts have we burned to the ground? How many cops have we killed?
riots and cops killing unarmed citizens stay on topic they are not remotely the same issue..
What's good for the goose...
|
I doubt very seriously that fraud changed the outcome. I don't believe that
so since when Has this nation held up a national election on claims that wont change the outcome? and if caught they get charged and prosecuted..
Why does Bill barr memo not bother you or what pompeo said bother you or Trumps lies bother you or firing the Sec of defense bother you the list is endless

Bannon told The New Yorker in November 2017: "Next to Trump, he's the elected official who gets it the most—the economic nationalism. He understands that the Washington élite—this permanent political class of both parties ... needs to be shattered." hes 100% Trumps Mini me

'you are influenced by shiny objects "
Tell me what Biden has done, that's more truly impressive?
Turning down riches to do a combat tour with the Army, is nothing more than "a shiny object" to you.
You are entitled to have such a low opinion of that act of selflessness. It's just disappointing, if not surprising.
Economic nationalism is bad? Making your first priority the economic well being of this country, is a bad thing for an elected politician to advocate for? We has elected by the citizens of Arkansas. Is he supposed to put their needs second, behind the needs of people in another country?
So you expect your pension to be 100% funded, which requires the taxpayers paying for a portion of it. But you are opposed to public policy which prioritizes economic growth and opportunity, for those same people who you demand fund your retirement?
You don't see anything humorous about that?
"You, John Taxpayer. I am gong to vote for a president who won't be primarily concerned with your economic well being, but I still insist that you pay for my pension and healthcare,"
Sounds fair. Let's renegotiate NAFTA to eliminate more American jobs, then you tell the newly unemployed that they still are on the hook for your financial security.

That stuff bothers me. Unlike you, I can say that some things Trump does bother me, and other things he does, are awesome.
Liberals are so simpleminded, that only one thing can be true - Trump is bad. You can't consider the possibility that his personal moral compass is disgusting, but at the same time, he did some terrific things in terms of policy.
You can't do it None of you can do it. You can't even concede that I criticize him. Because it's all or nothing with you.

That is because the Orange Man is bad, bad to the bone.
And thinking that anything but himself matters to him should at some point become readily apparent, unless you are blind.
Remember when he said we "must have a final result on Nov. 3"?
End of Day 7: Trump is down nearly 5 million votes and he and his allies are 0-12 in court.

Jim when Trumps negatives and your positives are a 90/10 split
The kind of praise you feel he deserves , will only happen at his funeral
And his current behavior isn’t helping that split. Or how history will remember him and those who follow him

If history is going to be rough on his supporters, when will that commence? And how do you explain, then, why the election (other than the POTUS line)was such a disappointment for the democrats?
Have fun explaining that.

Richard Hopkins’s claim that a postmaster in Erie, Pa., instructed postal workers to backdate ballots mailed after Election Day was cited by Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) in a letter to the Justice Department calling for a federal investigation. Attorney General William P. Barr subsequently authorized federal prosecutors to open probes into credible allegations of voting irregularities and fraud before results are certified, a reversal of long-standing Justice Department policy.
But on Monday, Hopkins, 32, told investigators from the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General that the allegations were not true, and he signed an affidavit recanting his claims, according to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe an ongoing investigation. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee tweeted late Tuesday that the “whistleblower completely RECANTED.”

Or this one...
Quote:
At the city’s federal courthouse on Thursday evening, attorneys for Trump asked a judge to issue an emergency order to stop the count, alleging that all Republican observers had been barred.
Under sharp questioning from Judge Paul S. Diamond, however, they conceded that Trump in fact had “a nonzero number of people in the room,” leaving Diamond audibly exasperated.
“I’m sorry, then what’s your problem?” asked Diamond, who was appointed to the federal bench by President George W. Bush.

Or Rudy passing along a video showing someone ripping apart a Trump ballot which was fake.
The judges are laughing at these lawsuits.

Tweety's base refuses to believe the Republican city commissioner in Philadelphia or the GOP Secretary of State in Georgia.
They aren't going to believe the decision of the courts or the results of recounts or audits either.
Stop pretending these are good faith positions.

Quote of the day, from Fauci: “When you have public figures like [former chief strategist Stephen K.] Bannon calling for your beheading, that’s really kind of unusual."

Don't you think it's more than a little suspicious though that when Fauci learned of the encouraging Eli Lilly vaccine announcement he seemed a little "too" happy?

So much of this speaks why I struggled so much with my vote. I totally agree that some of his policies (China) were right up my alley. But I could not get past the lying and his divisive effect on the country. So don't say I can't do it... Besides, I am not a liberal.

Did you miss how many people voted. And Trump still lost so it’s clear many Republicans had a spine and either left out Trump or voted Biden because I guess Character was on the Ballot. And many still believe dems are socialist. It amazing what Republicans believe with out evidence s
And i think most elected Republicans are playing with fire standing with Trump and his Baseless fraud claims..
No matter how they spin the messages that they’re real concern the election integrity... 😂
What’s your take on the Texas Lt governor offering a 1 million dollar bounty for voter fraud?
I read the Lt Governor in Pennsylvania gave him a case it was against Republican..then asked where was his money

And I answered that very clearly - no.
I think it's appropriate to look into credible claims of irregularity (dead people voting, the door left wide open for my wife to vote twice). Byt his rhetoric, as is often the case, is reckless, obnoxious, and way over the top.
Can I answer it any more directly, any more clearly?
"politicizing the DOJ'
Yet you have not a care, for the prior administration's willingness to politicize the DOJ, using a joke of a dossier to mislead the FISA court in order to spy on Carter Page.
Sorry, I know we're not supposed to even discuss any wrongdoing on the left.

Wayne, nowhere in there, did you even come close to answering my question.
You asked a question, I answered. I asked a question, and you dodged. Completely and obviously.
What does it say about the flimsiness of yoru beliefs, that you are unable to answer such a simple and obvious question?
"What’s your take on the Texas Lt governor offering a 1 million dollar bounty for voter fraud?"
Using public money? I don't like it. See? You asked, I gave a direct answer.
Yet you cannot find a way to answer my question. That's what "losing the argument" looks like.

I answered your question. I told you why they won those seats 72 million Republicans voted. And their belief of America is turning into a socialist nation it’s not rocket science ..
Public money? But private money is Fine ?
And Trump should be charged for promoting his attacks on our elections and if you think he is actually concerned , your a willing participant in his plan to ruin America and our institutions..
Look who he is firing and why and tell me that’s not an authoritarian leader
Tell me why COVID is raging across the nation and Trump is more concerned with attacking Fox News
No COVID bail out plan
Like I’ve said since he was elected it’s all about Him and his base who prefer lies over truth are retreating to their safe place echo chambers

why should i care if someone puts up his own money as a reward for blowing the whistle on voter fraud? why would that bother you?
covid is raving because it’s highly contagious and we have no vaccine, and we’re a free country. again, you might want to look at which states have the highest death rates, and which governor had the brilliant idea of deliberately putting the virus in. rising homes. of all
places, rising homes.

you’re upset there’s no covid relief. lemme guess, you assign zero blame for that, to the house?
as to it all being about trump, why did he increase funding for black colleges, and advocate for school
choice, and champion criminal
justice reform? tell
is how those things benefit him?
with his tax cuts, he doubled the standard deduction and expanded child tax credits. obviously those things don’t impact him.
