Dump find

Yesterday I hit the dump and just before I dump my plastic recycling in the bin, sitting right on top is all this perfectly good rope. Why anyone would throw it or think it belongs in that bin is beyond me, but I will find a use for it. Pretty hefty too so it’s probably rated up there for load.

Talking

I remember a rookie Canal lobster fisherman who had his traps tied off with yellow poly rope. Never understood why every time he pulled them, his bait was gone, but there never were any lobsters.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

That looks like water skiing rope. I think dumps do not want rope thrown away as it can get all caught up in the heavy equipment burying all the trash. It makes Ok anchor rope or to help pull down trees

Don't use it logging. Unless it's 1 inch in diameter or more it's a death wish.

No boat, back in the suds.

Lord, the times I’ve helped pull stumps with chain I went to another county when it came time.

The only thing that rope is good for is a dinghy painter. It floats so it will never get stuck in your prop. Anything else, it’s garbage
