Good read. Is his house still standing, open to the public?

That is a whole can of worms... Site to be developed and town(s) now trying to figure the best avenue after the restaurant named The General Glover House sat unused for ? 30 years......

That's unfortunate. That house is rich in history. I am big on saving history. I am involved with the Fall River Fire Museum, restoring that building has been a great experience. Its much newer that house (Being built in 1873) but still neat to work on.

I stand corrected, after further thought and consideration from Wikipedia. His house at 11 Glover Square does still stand, and is on the National Historic Register.
So here is what I found about the other property and it connection to Glover;
In 1782 Glover purchased the Marblehead estate of the Loyalist William Browne, which had been confiscated by the state. That house and farm served as his home until his death in 1796. The Glover Farm house and property still stands, but has been significantly altered having been converted into an Inn and then later restaurant before closing in the later 1990s
