Hey Guys and gals - again thanks for showing up, helping out, and enjoying yourselves.
Thanks to ALL the people that donated stuff to the raffle table - more stuff than I think I've ever seen - and all the people that took a chance on stuff. And thanks for the CLAMRAKE - seriously, my wife will be digging for some clams this year (OK, me & Liam will help too).
All of this is what pays the bills for S-B. We don't really "sell" anything and this is not my income, but a great community of anglers and anglerttes. And your support last night goes a
long way to keep this site a reality! Again, thanks!
I also want to thanks all those that helped out again, between Bliz & GB, the Bombas in the kitchen, Red & katie at the door, everyone that helped setup and bring the grub, everyone that
helped clean up afterward - just a great group effort by everyone.
Big thanks to Mike Laptew on what is hands down the best fish porn I've seen. That must be the most / best / densest bass video - period. And can't wait until its released. Hey Fisheye -
can we get a copy of the pic of Canalman?
ALR - someone asked me last night if there was a list of all the recipes people used to make their dishes.
Also - seriously want to thank my wife, she really does put up with a lot as a result of this site and she really is very supportive of me doing this.
Again - great meeting people, finally hand delivering Jimbo's hat, aranging some fishin' time for later - can't wait!
As for Cabin Fever - The SB TFCTFN has given us a little boost going into the home stretch. Spring cannot be stopped. In a month people will be stalking the West Wall looking for the
first fish of the season, the "Toilet" will have its crowds, gear will get tweaked and arranged, and the winter projects will be quickly put away. The basses will soon arrive, and for the hardy, will begin an eight month journey of nirvana pursuing this common link we all share. Have a great 04!

Great night. Always fun to see old friends, but got to meet so many new faces with known names this year. The fish porn was first rate. Had me doing hook sets in my sleep!
Glad everyone driving got home OK. (And that Milo navigated for ChrisL,, again) My drive doesn't compare to Jimbo's, or Wee Wee's, but if you're ever headed north in the Ted Williams Tunnel at 0100, it's a 45 zone!!!!! No one, I mean no one in the tunnel but me and the trooper....160 clams

Speaking of recipes, that spinach dip with the pumpernickel bread was to die for, so I'd like to see that one. Those meat balls were killer, too many things to mention really, but those stand out.

Marianne and I want to thank everyone for a nice evening.
We enjoyed Mike Laptew's film " Stripers on the Run". We can't wait to go fishing!
It was great to see all of you in person. We wish there had been time to talk with each of you. For those of you we got to speak with, you are great people.
Thanks for the meal and for your company. We hope to meet up with some of you as we chase those Stripers on the Run!
It's nice to know there are so many good people who love to fish as much as we do.

What a fantastic night!...
Everyone of you are a living testimony as to why this site is so successful!
Great to see many familiar faces... and to have met many more!
Thanks Mike for a wonderful presentation, as many of us are eagerly anticipating the release of your dvd's!
It really helps to take the edge off during this long winter season.
And Thanks to all who participated!... it was a GREAT time!

Great turn out again and always fun. Massive raffle of all donated prizes , too cool.
As for recipes , well , cut up some lettuce , tomatos , cucumbers , broccoli , onions , mushrooms , carrots and put in a big roasting pan ....serve with 4 bottles of dressing. Not complicated , anyone could make it!!

It was every bit worth the drive, and I had a great time and hopefully next year kids' health will prevail and I can bring Mrs Jimbo (she was honestly bummed she had to stay home and manage sick-bay). It was nice to finally put faces to e-names and I believe you are all as friendly and funny and interesting in person as via this media-if not more. Sorry I missed the after partay in Rm 213, I went back to mine cracked open a Flying Fish and started writing down the names of people I had met so I wouldn't forget. Guess I dozed off for an hour (or six).
GotStripers - I brought the Spinach Dip in the pumpernickel loaf. All credit goes to Mrs. Jimbo for making it. She was planning to come when she put it all together and I'm sure wouldn't be upset if I told you to check out the back of a box of Knorr's Vegetable Soup Mix (remember, vegetable, not spinach, that's the secret). The recipe's right there-couldn't be easier to make.
Thanks again all for a great night.
(Oh yes, after several Heinekins, I got RickB to loosen up and he drew me some maps and wrote out explicit directions to some of his most productive and secret Cape honey holes and herring runs if anyone's interested in copies).

Great time
Wife and I had a great time, the video by Fish Eye really sparked her intrerest and gave her some appreciation for the addiciton I have.
Food, company, presentation and raffle prizes were wonderful. I scored a few plugs/plastics and the Graves Pt picture which is already hanging on a wall (average size bass 49.5 lbs!).
Looking forward to the fishing season and any other opportunities to get together as a group.

It was a great time, after last years event I couldnt wait for this one and it didnt disappoint. Good people, good food, good video but the where was the Bomba dance?
Goose that serviceman is my buddy Schu whom I was stationed with once upon a time. He's been back about a month. Amongst all the stories one thing stood out to me. The Iraqies are not anywhere near as much of a problem as the Iranians are. I could go on but it is not my place.

I had a great time, even though I didn't win a rod and reel. But greatful for the 3 other times I won. Was enjoyable to see some of my fishin buddies from here that I haven't seen in person since this fall, especially Krispy, T. Lap, Slingah, and Big Fish. Was very honored to have had the pleasure of sharing a dinner table with FishEye. His stories during dinner about the video did not disappoint me.
Enjoyed my first Blooberry bear, but my legs are still sore from sitting on the bike machine for an hour and a half in that exercise room.
I regret that I didn't get to personally meet more of the fine folk from here that I had wanted to meet such as Sandman, KD Mulder and others, though I did finally meet Goose and Slipknot the Patriot.
Lookin forward to catchin some of those fish from the video. I haven't been able to think of much besides that since. It is drivin me bonkers.
An enjoyable time and thank you to the folks that put it all together.
