Beamie,
You are right...their are logistic hurdles with this business model. It works great in florida but in the Northeast the season is too compressed. The real problem is that you can get January weather in April/May (almost) or you can have half of the season weekends be rainouts.
Thanks for your response!

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

New England- When I started it was definately a gamble and I had the same concerns every prospective member has. The boat club model has proven effective. With that said it is like any business and people do not just wander in off the street to join. We work VERY hard at customer service, sales, and marketing.
johnny duckett- You just missed the deadline!!! I ran the poll on the forum as part of my research before starting the first Freeom Boat Club in New England in 2005. Surprisingly we have more people interested in "cruising" in the club than fisherman! If it was upt to me I would have an entire fleet of Center Consoles and Walk Arounds.
