i'm very familiar with carrier, went through the syracuse school a couple of years ago. 85% of the fleet that i help maintain is refrigerated. probably 70% TK, like the carriers though. ask him if AMI rings a bell. we have a shop in springfield, and am fairly certain he has probably been there.

Hey Jenn - you were right!
It's a little weird knowing 'Big Brother' is watching...
now I can't talk about him.

getting smaller all the time. especially when we're talking mechanics. good ones are getting really hard to find. who wants to invest $15,000 in tools and get dirty and beat up everyday

woo! ouch...thats it??? hes 27....he probably has that much that he has bought himself....never mind all the tools his father has given him!!!!!! its scary! really is! funny you mentioned this...one of the reasons he likes working on reefers is because he said its not as dirty......
I like it too because I dont have to destroy my washing machine anymore either!!! (yes he had unis before but those dang t-shirts never come clean...)

She has me all made out as the evil one. What she is not saying is that she pulls out the cattle prod when I'm sleeping and gives me suprise shock therapy
See - she's over my shoulder now, looks like she's about to dump water over my skull
Jenn - Wakefield is boring and very pricey. It's also WAY too far to get to from Rhody or the Cape... Closest shoreline is Lynn, Lynn, Lynn - City of Sin.... Is that his only option? Wakefield?
Red - that's a tough business to be in when you're in your fifties. I worked in car shops for more than a couple years and I realized that I didn't want to turn a wrench when I get older.... If you're a good mechanic, you get a lot of respect and pride doing your job. But 30 years with an impact gun will take a major toll. It'll make Tennis elbow look like hitting your funny bone....
Jenn - TBH says later... I'm going to hit the rack too (Spanish Inquisition Style)

jenn.. i,m certain with your hubby having good experience and being young he could hook into a few sweet jobs down this way. and some may even pay fairly decent too. just to let you know.. there aren't any reefer repair business's on the cape. couple of hackers. but when we get into a bind we end up calling Boston TK
