Cuttyhunk sign up who can still go??
Ok here is the last list of Cuttyhunk bound S-b members I had before I had to shut it off do to the fact that the island would sink if we had any more at one time on the island. The dates are the 15th and the 16th of June. The ferry goes over at 9:00 am and gets to the island at 10:00 or so. Then on Sunday it will leave at 3:00 and get back to N.B. at around 4:00. So I think we should have the derby start at 12:00 noon on Sat. and end at 12:00 noon on Sun. how does that sound to everyone? Please let me know if you can or can not make it as I will need to be sure we get enought food and drinks for all and also get some tents to put up for all that may want to get some sleep Sat. night!

I'll give up my spot. I close on my new house right around that time, so I'm really not sure if I'll be able to pull it off. Thanks you so much for the invite though, and hopefully later in the season we'll be able to hook up. Have a great time guys!

I have found that pencil poppers, particularly Cordell ones are a prime lure. Also, last Fall a white 1oz Habs popper was dynamite!
Small and medium Danny's have also been a good plug to have in your bag.
One tip....get your legs in shape!!! Start walking a mile or so a few times a week.

I'm in!
Used to be that weekend (father's day and US Open) was a golf blow out for me and 19 other nuts I used to run with up at Killington. So now I'm looking forward to a fishing blow out, minus all the killing of brain cells.
I'll be heading down from Marblehead if anyone wants to hook up for a ride. Will be totin' a new Saltheart Allstar that I'm ordering today!
Does anyone know where I can procur a few rigged eels between now and the Cuttyhunk Classic?

Hi John....
I may want to tag along on this one....pencil me in for a definite maybe!.....
BYW, you cleared with permission, etc. on tent pitching and all that goes with it?
Great to see you at the show. The closest we've been has been a holler from the Canal road to the beach at Pip's.

Harrible, I hate to be the bearer of bad news here when it comes to fishin' that mystical island, we had a signup just beofe Christmas that booked the place up. GB offered us space at his platz on the island to have a S-B trip and we filled it quickly ( ). So it would really be up to him if space is available when/if others drop out and can't make it. I know that GB and I don't want to exclude anyone it's just that we (I'm saying "we" - like I have own the house - well, I can dream) have limited space.
There were already some others expressing interest if enough spots from the original list open up (like Swimmer & one other that I can't think of right now). The trip is a little overbooked at the moment but if enough spots open...
We'll see how it goes and GB and I can meet up soon and go over things alittle more (GB - how is next week sometime?)

Ok--I understand perfectly how a trip like that could get booked quickly. That's for the consideration and best of luck .....
I have fished those islands many times, albeit from small boats, often casting to the shore instead of from it. You guys should have a ball and some great fishing.
