Cut back on fishing to only once a week, which I', m doing now. This really sucks. What gets me is the CEO gets $400 million in a retirement package!!! Well we got a oilman in the Whitehouse. Time for a change. Vote the oil party out of office. FishHawk

Well since theyre claiming that gas prices will spike early summer and then go down a bit late summer/early fall, I may plan accordingly. Possible I'll just go down to the Cape for maybe a couple weekends in May and June, work like mad and get the current project wrapped up by late august/early sept and then take 2 weeks off and fish nonstop then. We'll see.

Newport: Weekdays up until 1:15am from Kennedy plaza. Sat up until 10:35pm from Kennedy plaza. Return back starting at 4:40 am from Newport on weekdays and 5:35am on Sat.
Ganset: Weekdays up until 6:30pm from Kennedy plaza. Sat up until 3:15pm from Kennedy plaza. Return back starting at 6:18 am from Gansett (beach) on weekdays and 10:48am on Sat.

I would fish less because I tend to go to the Cape and RI because I can't afford driving around and burning my tank out. It's a bit over 100 miles one way trip and doubling up for a round trip. I might probably stick to working out and do kickboxing more.

I'll just keep my new SUV at home and ride around in Keeperreaper's new sled.
It's getting close fellas, a couple of weeks and it will blow wide open.

Close to 3.50 last night in soco, will surely hit 4 plus by July 4th.This will probably not change anything for me as I get out only 1or 2 times per week anyways. Not much to cut back on. Guys who fish frequently will feel it much more. As long as the price of pizza stays down I'm all set.

Acually saving money with the boat! I have not filled my truck up in three weeks, the marina is a mile away and the boat gets unreal gass milage! I have been all over narragansett bay and burned 4 gallons of fuel! And caught plenty of fish And not have to drive down to soco and deal with 1000 people on the beach having fistfights over dink bass.......So buying the boat has changed my life. Eventually I will be down south but for the next month or two I have the fish right in my backyard, and never knew how good it was.......The heck with the gas! Plus the gas tank holds 23 gallons on the boat, I am guessing I can get a month out of that........

you have made a sacrifice in becoming a boat guy
that has paid off in using less gas and at the same time
dramatically increasing your range... Bravo
