I don't care what you listen too normally, Dave Mathews is amazing. I keep meaning up some of his stuff. Seems like every album is better than the last.
Carter Beauford ...amazing too... very tasteful ..

Listen to Waltham, hell, my girl went to high school with all those guys...they all live like 100 feet from here.
My buddy Dave (Frank's brother) was their original lead guitar...Frank and Dave are on tour right now with Seemless.
Mikey, Dave and Peet were in Jetfuel with Jet and Ben from SBC, too.
See all those guys around all the time.

a few years ago, right before my freshman year of high school i spent 22 dollars on a dual set of cd's that would become some of the greatest cds i've ever bought, let alone listened to..
Metallica's S&M set.. where the band has the full orchestra behind them.. just sounds amazing, and even amplifies is a little bit. its really good
Wasajigifying -[ was - a - jig-i-fy-ing] - the concept of not knowing what the hell your saying.
usually whatever is on the radio...on whatever station (style) of music I feel like that day! My latest obsession has been korn & disturbed. But its nothing for me to change the cd and pop in the eagles........
Was a big Exodus fan back in the 80s and just yesterday a friend hooked me up with their last two albums Tempo of the Damned(04) and Shovel Headed Kill Machine(05).
I miss Blind Melon....I miss Sublime....Both had their unique thing going on...I have a great acoustic version of change....Bad fish too for that matter....

I used to be a hardcore guster fan, but their stuff was MUCH different back then, that was before the drummer actulally started playing a drum kit - it was all bongos back then.
the new CD is decent, but not half as good as "lost and gone forever" for example, which was produced by Steve Lillywhite (who did the Dave Matthew's earlier CD's)
newer bands for me would be:
U2 (how can we forget them!!)
Guns and Roses
Velvet Revolver
Stone Temple Pilots
Rage Against the Machine
Audioslave
Foo Fighters
Dave Matthews
Radiohead
a great local rocker who got signed and moved to LA is a guy named Bleu
just great stuff, he won the BCN rumble in 02 I think.
Waltham rocks too....just kick your ass hard rock.
you can have the Dropkicks in my opinion, they are a bunch of screamers and noise makers, I think nobody really listens to them, they just go to shows to get drunk and party.
Rockport...can't believe you hate the Murphy's...yes they're noise makers, but I can't think of anything else I'd like to listen to when I work out on the heavy bag!
I'll tell my boys from Waltham you like them...I likem too! Just hate that they love Rick Springfield!
Bronko, big ups for the Sebadoh...used to buy bags from J in Amherst when Lou was playing bass for Dinosaur.
Mikey, lay off the Crusty Mustard!
Hear you were the lead singer!
"I Could Spend a Lifetime Smelling Ladies Underwear," was your magnum opus!

sorry Bomba, although I must say that I think the Dropkicks do have some musical chops and do well intergrating the irish sounds into the hard rock sound, there is only so much screaming I can take though
