Nice Catch,
It breaks my heart to see so many big breeders dieing, but they're Bill's fish and he can do as he pleases.

Great Fish!!
These "Big Breeders" are basicly on the end of there breeding/life cycle or steril. You want to complain, complain about the 28 inch breeders that have 20 years of breeding left to-do.

Guys & gals - lets please discuss the question or whether or not to keep a bass or its feducity (sp?) in a different discussion. It is nothing negative or anything that cannot or should not be discussed but threads like this often have this thread-hijack when instead that very topic can and should be discussed in another thread as it makes great discussion to see how the viewpoints come out ...
Thanks!
John

So, if my calculations are correct, you will land a 100lb 7oz stripper by July 3rd.

What a week. A once in a life time fish. I know you worked hard for it. Mid June isn't a bad time to fish. Didn't Charlie Cinto catch his June 12-15th?

I'm going to hide myself in the back of his truck next time. BTW, I think that is definitely a smile on his face this time

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

are you still going to mount the 51?
If it were me, at this point I would probably contact a super high end taxidermist, and see if they could make mount with both fish chasing after a pogie. you obviously know where to find the pogie to supply the taxidermist! It would probably cost $$$$, but so worth it.
By far the best accomplishment I know of in this sport that obsesses us.
Congratulations!
